Upaya Awakened Action

I am still floating on the energy and stories shared this week-end. I highly recommend a donation to Upaya and registering to watch the videos from this auspicious event. The best medicine is community. This was the best medicine and teachers!

Joan Halifax is with Rebecca Solnit and Valerie Brown.

TTerry Tempest Williams shared today: “My grandmother always told me that when someone cries, they are the closest to their soul,” while extending a raw account of beauty in the face of catastrophe—as flash floods carved new sacred landscapes into her home valley, weaving strands of community together as one body of care.
Rebecca Solnit encouraged an exploration of the stories that have shaped our lives, and what stories need to be broken.
And together, Valerie Brown and Roshi Joan bridged the divide of the deeply challenging differences we face daily within our families, communities, and relationships. A profound, powerful, and moving day of Awakened Action with a truly generous faculty.
All sessions are recorded, please register and join us here: https://www.upaya.org/program/awakened-action-online-2024/
